This privacy policy applies to the Ludus app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by AppTube (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

When you create an account or use the Application, you may provide us with:

• Account information: full name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash), and optionally a profile picture and short bio.
• Sign-in identifiers from third parties: when you sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, we receive a stable identifier and your email so we can link your sign-ins to a single Ludus account.
• Events you create or join: title, description, banner image, location, date and time, and any password you set on a private event.
• Chat messages you send inside event chats. Messages are stored on our servers so other event participants can read them while the event is active and so our moderation team can review reports.
• Reports and blocks: when you report a message or block another user, we record who took the action, the target, and the reason.
• Ratings and reviews you leave for other users after an event.

• Device identifiers and diagnostic data such as IP address, app version, operating system, device model, and crash reports collected via Firebase Crashlytics.
• Usage data such as which screens you visit and the time spent on those screens.
• Push notification tokens, so we can deliver event invitations, chat notifications, and rating reminders. You can disable these in the operating system or in Ludus Settings at any time.
• On iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). We only access the IDFA after you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, no IDFA is collected. You can change your choice in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

The Application uses your device's precise location while the app is in use, with your permission, in order to:

• show events near you on the map and in the home feed,
• find other users nearby who are looking for a group,
• let you set your event's location to "current location" when creating an event.

Location is only requested when the app is in the foreground (we never run a background location service), and you can revoke the permission at any time in your operating system's privacy settings.

If you choose to upload a profile picture or an event banner, the Application requests access to your camera or photo library so you can pick or capture an image. Images you choose are uploaded to our servers to display them in the Application. We do not access your camera or library at any other time.

We use the information described above to: provide the core functionality of the Application; authenticate you; deliver push notifications you have opted in to; moderate user-generated content; investigate abuse; comply with our legal obligations; and improve the Application.

We may contact you with important information, required notices, and occasional marketing communications about Ludus. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. We use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Performance, and Firebase Crashlytics to understand aggregate behavior and crash patterns. On iOS, advertising-identifier collection by these tools is gated by your App Tracking Transparency choice.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with our trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

You can permanently delete your Ludus account from inside the Application: open Settings → Account → Delete Account, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete Account. Account deletion is immediate and permanent: we remove your profile, profile picture, events you host (and their banners), event chat conversations you host, your chat messages, ratings you have given or received, blocks and reports you have submitted, push tokens, and your sign-in identities (email, Google, Apple). We may retain a minimal record of the deletion event itself for fraud prevention and to comply with our legal obligations. If you cannot use the in-app flow you can also email us at support@ludustheapp.com and we will delete your account in a reasonable time.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by deleting your account (above) or by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Diagnostic logs (crash reports, performance traces) are retained for up to 90 days. Chat messages are retained while the related event chat is active and for a short window thereafter so participants can review them; deleted accounts have their messages removed immediately as part of the account-deletion flow.

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
